Wouldn’t it be great if we lived in a perfect world? You know where there were no imperfection’s? A world where we woke up flawless?
Unfortunately, this world I speak of does not exist. The world in which we live in our differences aren’t always celebrated; appreciated and received as an asset. Many times they are pointed out as flaws; issues; problems; things we need to change; work on or improve… As you live this thing called life, you will eventually realize we all have flaws and no one is perfect. There are always going to be areas in which we will need improvement; feedback and constructive criticism. But because you’re not flawless doesn’t mean you are worthless.
This is the lie many of you are believing. Every time you look in the mirror, you’re reminded of everything about you that is perceived as a flaw. You’ve convinced yourself no one will love; value; or appreciate someone like you and I’m not only talking about a relationship. You’ve convinced yourself you’re no good for the job you want; the car you want; the friends you want. You’ve convince yourself no one will want to invest in someone as flawed as you.
What I know for sure is… We all have flaws; blemishes’; room for improvement. There are always going to be things we need to work on and improve, even until the day we day. Change the things you can and those you can’t, don’t surrender to them, but continue to work on them. You will never be “flawless”, but you can be Flawed – Less. YOU GOT THIS, don’t be so hard on yourself.
